Wayne Schooling, a former trucker who entered the transportation industry in 1962, is the driving force behind the NorthAmerican Transportation Association (NTA). NTA was originally established in 1990 as a drug testing consortium in California under the name Southern California Truck Owners and Independent Operators Consortium. In 1992, the organization reincorporated in Nevada and expanded its reach. Over the years, NTA has made the Public Utilities Commission and California Highway Patrol's recommended list of approved drug testing programs. 


As the membership grew, now with over 5,000 members in California alone, so did the demand for additional services. In 1991, NTA introduced a benefits package aimed at supporting independent truck drivers and their families. This package provided resources, information, and advice on essential areas like products, services, health, and personal finance, all geared toward helping them succeed in the transportation business.

The partnership between Conscious Commerce Corporation (CCC) and the NorthAmerican Transportation Association (NTA) has been going strong for over four years, and it’s been an exciting ride! We’ve worked closely with NTA, adapting our approach to meet their ever-changing needs. From website design and creation to SEO, paid ads (on Google and Meta), social media management, and email marketing, we’ve tackled it all. With regular monthly meetings and ongoing communication, we’ve stayed ahead of the curve and are always on the lookout for new opportunities.
