Frequently Asked Questions

  • How Should I Fill Out My Website?

Powerful design, brand consistency, and effective content are the pillars of web design. Building an engaging website requires web and graphic designers, copywriters, content marketers, and SEO specialists to create a consistent experience that will keep your customers happy and engaged.

  • Why Is Website Design Important?

Almost all consumers will interact with your website in some way before doing business with you. It’s important for you to keep the customer experience as smooth as possible, and good website design is the first step to keeping customers happy. With proper website design, you can expect to see an increase in sales through your website.

  • What Is a Responsive Website?

A responsive website is one that automatically adapts to fit any screen. It’s generally a standard practice for businesses to use a responsive website, as it drastically improves the user experience. A responsive website ensures that all of the content you want consumers to see is readily available no matter how they are viewing it.

  • How Do I Reconnect My Instagram Feed?

If your Instagram connection is disconnected, your authentication token may have expired and you need to reconnect the Photo Gallery widget to Instagram and re-authorize your credentials.

To reconnect the Photo Gallery widget to Instagram:

    1. Click the Photo Gallery widget to open the Content editor.
    2. Click Connect Instagram.
    3. Type your Instagram credentials, and then click Log In.
    4. Click Authorize.
  • How do I Add a Contact Form?

The Contact Form widget allows you to add a complete web form to your site. You can use it for email newsletter opt-ins, customer questions, or simply to gather feedback from your site visitors.

    To add a Contact Form:

    1. In the side panel, click Widgets.
    2. Click and drag the Contact Form widget into your site.
    3. Modify existing fields or add new fields to collect the information you want.
    4. Setup the recipient's email address and subject for receiving form responses and customize the confirmation and error messages visitor will see upon submission.
    5. (Optional) Add a tracking code or conversion code into your form.
    6. Add Google Sheets, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or a third-party application using Webhooks.
  • Why Am I not Receiving My Form Submissions

If you're not receiving form submissions it's most likely because our mail is being filtered as spam.

    Solution

    • Check your spam folder
    • Make sure the email address associated with the form is correct
    • Make sure to white list the IP addresses 167.89.22.215 and 149.72.216.48 in your email provider's settings
    • Add [email protected] to your email white list
    • Test the form on a new page
    • Contact your email provider
    • Make sure there is not a custom script interfering with your contact form
  • Why aren't my text changes saving?

That means there's an issue with the encoding. To fix this issue it is recommended you delete the element and recreate it.

If there is a lot of content, copy the text into a plain text editor (for example, Notepad, or Wordpad) so you can paste it back in easily.

  • How do I add special characters?

There is not a built-in way to add special characters (superscripts and other symbols), but you can copy-paste them into the editor from an outside location.

  • How do I use my own fonts?

You can add custom fonts from the Google fonts library or by uploading custom font files (TTF, OTF, EOT, or WOFF). For more information, see Add Custom Fonts.

  • How Can I Change the Default Homepage

You can change the home page of your site and set any other page in its place. The original homepage will be saved as a regular page and can be reinstated as the home page at any time.

    To change the homepage:

    • In the left panel, click Pages.
    • Click the settings icon next to the page you want to be the new home page and select Set as home page.
    • Type a new alias (URL) for the existing home page. All links pointing to the old homepage will be changed to the new alias. All links pointing to the new homepage will be changed to "/."
    • Click Set home page.

    Note

This option is only available for normal pages (not popups, anchors, external pages, dynamic pages, 404 page, blog posts, etc.).

    Warning

Multilingual sites are not currently supported.

  • How do I build a Navigation Menu?

You can generate an all-inclusive navigation menu with links to all pages on the site, or build your own menu with only the most useful links.

    To build a navigation menu:

    • From the side panel, drag the Navigation Links widget to the site.
    • Select an option for populating links:
    • Site pages. Automatically generates navigation links based on the pages, folders, and anchors on the Pages panel.
    • Custom links. Allows you to generate navigation links based on only the most useful links. If you choose this option, you will be prompted to populate a list of links from existing pages, external URLs, or existing anchors.
  • How do I change the main image for my blog post?

    1. In the side panel, click Blog and then click the Post Settings button next to the post you want to update.
    2. In the Post Details section, click Replace next to the Post main image.
  • Can I have a different thumbnail image than the one I use for my main image in my blog post?
