Dirty Laundry Winery is built on one of Summerland’s most colourful stories. In the late 1800s, a Chinese immigrant named Sam Suey opened a laundry business near the Kettle Valley Railway. But his entrepreneurial spirit went beyond clean clothes. Upstairs, his “waiting room” became a lively spot where local workers could enjoy a drink, a card game, or friendly company. Locals eventually gave it the tongue-in-cheek name “Dirty Laundry.”


Today, Dirty Laundry Winery celebrates that cheeky history with a playful spirit and award-winning wines. Visitors can sip a glass on the patio overlooking the vineyards as the old Kettle Valley steam engine still rolls by. A reminder of the Okanagan’s past and the winery’s bold, unapologetic roots.

The company knew it needed to create a consistent experience that catered to its unique branding and personality. They recognized the importance of going digital, but didn’t want to compromise the quality of the in-store experience.
